Johannes grew up in Stavanger Norway. At young age he started photographing everything around him, and he is still doing that. He has had solo shows and been part of group art shows in New York, Boston, Minneapolis, Oslo and Stavanger. His work is a part of Walker Art Center collection. He is also in private collections both in Norway and in the United States. Since 2006 Johannes has collaborated with Salvation Army, photographing their humanitarian work in  USA, Portugal, Kenya, India, Bangladesh and Norway, also Johannes works with, New York Times, Bloomberg, Dagens Næringsliv, Dagbladet, Aftenposten, covering the United States of America. Johannes has great passion for food, and since 2006 he has photographed 5 best selling cooking books in Scandinavia: Rett Skal Være Rett, Drikk Mer, Suppe Såpe Frelse, Kjartans Tango, Tørst, Pedal Kraft and most recent På Stive Hjul gjennom Amerika. Johannes is a passionate photographer with broad experience from editorial and commercial clients with over 20 years of experience managing a wide variety of assignments and projects. Years of working for the newspaper industry has given me the agility needed to deal with changing work environments and short deadlines.  I consistently keep deliver high quality photographs.
